The Pelican had a successful day today releasing a White Marlin, a nice Blue Marlin and 20 Mahi some of which were gaffer size! Great job to Jeff Privette and Alex..you guys are great anglers!

It’s safe to say marlin season is in full swing! Yesterday the guys released six white marlin! Today is the first day of the Pirates Cove Billfish Tournament with over fifty teams registered. Good Luck!

Although the seas were a bit bumpy today, this Pelican crew was able to successfully release a white marlin and put a nice catch of Mahi in the box along with a wahoo. Nice catch for the day.
Its so much fun fishing with our young friends! Both Sonny Albarty and Devon released a White Marlin and also helped with the other two releases! A great day! All kids should go fishing!
GRAND SLAM!! Two Blue Marlin a White Mary and a Sailfish to give us our grand slam today!! Plus about 30 Mahi! Need I say more? Great job Pelican crew!
The last two days have been great! Yesterday was a short day for our group but they ended it releasing a blue, two whites and a mahi for the box. Today we released four out of six white marlin and three nice mahi for the box. There have been a great number of grand slams caught by the fleet while some boats have had two or three. Hoping this is a good sign for our marlin season.
What an incredible day! We started the first two hours fighting a nice Blue Marlin weighing over 500 lb’s! Then we released 4 of 7 White Marlin! The two gaffer Mahi were icing on the big cake! Slick calm glassy sea conditions. One excellent day!
