Spring Fishing and Mexico Update

Time to get your Tuna game on!!!! I’m ecspecially pleased at the bookings that have been coming in for May & June! Both fantastic months for Mahi and Tuna!! Also, it’s not too soon to consider July. Personally, JULY is one of my favorite months to fish due to being a “transition” time for ALL our target species! Anything is possible in July! If you want to fill the box with meat this Spring now would be a good time to get your prime dates in.

Not much has changed for Mexico sailfish releases. Numbers across the board are steadily consistent and increasing by the day. Not a bad way to brush off the winter blues!

At the end of the day, we are very much looking forward to the beginning of our fishing season this spring from Oregon Inlet! Check our availability page for your prime dates and give me a call/email. Always happy to chat about fishing!

Mexico Update From Mike Abel

There you have it!! Another great day with Arch! Fishing has picked up nicely and the weather has been great for fishing! They are having a BLAST!

I have been busy here booking the Pelican and it truly helps the winter blues! I love chatting about our great fishing here and looking forward to the fishing offshore for 2016! Catching up with our regulars and guiding the unfamiliar to the best date for what they want to catch is what I look forward to. Give us a call, we’re happy to help out. Mexico Update and Looking Ahead!

Fishing started slow for the Keen M but has picked up in double digit releases. There are reports of seeing sailfish in the twenty and thirties..like turning on the light switch!

Mexico!!!

Its time for the incredible fishing at Isla Mujeres, Mexico!! Arch will be running the Keen M from January 10-February 10. We have availability January 14-24, 27 & 28; February 3, 8-10. Get on it!! It’s a great time!

Mexico report

Weather has been a challenge the last few days in Mexico with nice weather but rough seas. Capt. Arch has still been able to pick up nice sailfish releases in spite of below par conditions. Here is a nice photo from a fisherman enjoying the good life fishing with Arch

January 21 –

The bite continues, Paul successfully released fifteen sail’s yesterday with Capt. Arch. There are plenty of fish around and it sounds like everyone is having a great time! Paul’s view this morning heading out to do it again.

Mexico Sail Fishing

Arch’s first day at the helm of the Keen M was a success! Mike Stough released four of seven hooked Sailfish on FLY!! Not an easy task!! Arch reported seeing “alot” of sails today along with the boats trolling seeing twenty plus! Weather and fishing came together nicely for them today, looking forward to doing again tomorrow. Way to go Mike and Arch!!

Prime Mexico Dates Are Now Available!!

Arch will be heading the Keen M on the beautiful island of Isla Mujeres starting January 10 – February 11. The following dates are available: JAN. 15-18 and JAN 31-FEB 4 Hope to see you in Mexico!
