Blue Marlin Surprise!

Yesterday was a great day aboard the Pelican!  We landed seven nice Yellowfin  and to our surprise, a Blue Marlin release!  Looking forward to a week of feast and fishing!

Box Full

The Yellowfin Tuna fishing has been a hit this week with boats pulling in their limits.  We’re starting to see more of the Yellowfins along with the Blackfin Tuna.  We’re looking forward to good weather this week!  Fun for all!  See you at the dock!

Great Yellowfin Fishing Today!

The past few days have been very successful for the Yellowfin Tuna!  Today the boats were in early with their limits!  Some Wahoo were caught as well.  Time to load up the freezer!  Dates available for the Pelican so get your gang together and plan your trip!  arch@fishthepelican.com

Fall Fishing

There are going to be some very sore arms from all the Blackfin Tuna reeled in.  The Pelican scored with a box full and a beautiful day of fishing.  The fleet have had excellent catches of Blackfin and Yellowfin.  It’s a great time to fill your freezers!!!  See you at the dock!

Tuna Daze Have Arrived!

The off shore fleet had a great day yesterday chasing Yellowfins, two that weighed 94 and 62 lbs. Birds and tuna feeding, surely an awesome sight!  Boxes were filled yesterday.  The Pelican is looking forward to getting into these this weekend!  If your looking for awesome billfish action you have to experience the sailfishing in Mexico!  New available dates for Mexico on the Kin M with Captain arch Bracher!  Currently we have January 11, 12, 22-25 and February 2-7.

Tuna Time!

Capt. Arch has had two great days of tuna fishing aboard the Pelican.  The Yellowfins are showing up nicely and all the Blackfin you could ask for.  Tons of fun and loading up freezers!!  Weather has been great the days we’ve been out!  Days still available for October and November, looks like its going to be a great tuna season..see you at the dock!

A Box Full of Balckfin Tuna!

It was an excellent day aboard the Pelican.  The weather was perfect, a beautiful Fall day, light winds, perfect temps and a lot of fishing going on.  Caught way more than we could keep which made for an exciting day.  It’s always great when we come in with a box full of Tuna!

Mahi and Tuna

Yesterday, The Pelican landed 40 dolphin and four Tuna, today, good blackfin, scattered yellowfin and a few wahoo!  Good job!  The weather has been great, looking forward to another great week!

In the Box and on the Rigger!!

Today the Pelican had an excellent opening to the Fall season!  The New River Electrical group landed eight (8) nice yellowfin tuna, (3) three wahoo, one which weighed 58lbs (citation size) and released two (2) sailfish.  Another great day aboard the Pelican!
