Captain Bracher had Joe, Connie and 9 year old Wes Kaylor on board the Pelican today.  The weather and seas where calm enough to make the 30+  mile run a pleasant one and the tuna ended up cooperating. Wes helped his parents landed 7 nice yellow fins, a dolphin fish and several black fins !

Pelican had a great day today,  great weather and calm seas today.  Pelican landed seven blackfin tuna and  yellow fin tuna weighing in at 50-77lbs.  Debbie catching the 77lb Yellowfin.  Great Job Debbie! A great start to our tuna season.

Pelican is hoping for a few more shots at the marlin and looking forward to October and November for another great Tuna season.  We’ve had great signs already with citation tuna being caught.

Yesterday, Pelican headed in search of the White Marlin, Picked up two whites and five dolphin.  Battling weather this week, at the dock today.

Due to weather we weren’t able to get out, water looks good for tomorrow if we can get out, 50/50% chance, hoping the weather cooporates.

The day started out fairly calm and gave way to northeast winds moving in.  Pelican had a great day with Five Yellowfin Tuna, one Wahoo, One Sailfish, Ten Blackfin Tuna.

We had a wonderful day with friends, made the trip north and was well worth it.  Caught nine out of seventeen whites.  Great day!

The Pelican has had two fantastic days!  Yesterday Pelican raised seven and had five bites, released four white marlin, today, very active with an excellent catch of 6 -70lb class yellowfin tuna and eleven blackfin.  Looking for whites tomorrow!
