Tuna and Dolphin

The last three days have been nice catches of Yellowfin Tuna and Dolphin.  Great weather has been a bonus while filling the box and we’re looking forward to continuing this great fishing through July.  Stay tuned for the upcoming Marlin reports, I’ve got a feeling it’s going to be another great season!

It’s Never Too Much!!

Capt. Arch and his crew had a great day yesterday!  Aaron Rodgers and his group experienced the best of both worlds landing four NICE Yellowfin Tuna, all over 50lbs,  a limit of Dolphin and a nice Wahoo.  Arch explained how great a day it was and all the action kept this group on it’s toes, he pointed out how great they handled their catches even with a little sea sickness, which is not easy.  Good Job!   Awesome memories and catches of a lifetime all created aboard the Pelican!

A nice Yellowfin Tuna, LIMIT of Dolphin and a White Marlin release yesterday beautiful weather was icing on the cake!  The anglers did an excellent job great team work!

Another Good Day On the Water

Not bad for being docked for two days due to weather, we ended the day yesterday with four nice Yellowfin Tuna, two Dolphin and releasing a White Marlin.  Hopeing the weather stays nice for the rest of the week.

Ongoing Great Fishing!

We’ve laid today due to weather, but the fishing the past few days has stayed consistant with good catches of Yellowfin Tuna and Dolphin.  This will be a season to remember with all the great fishing and memories made on the Pelican.

What A Day!!!

The great fishing continues in July!  Yesterday the Pelican loaded the box with 49 Dolphin and a nice Yellowfin Tuna, releasing a powerful 550 lb Blue Marlin to top off the day, a two and half hour fight of a lifetime!  The Pelican maintains a strong season of fishing.

Do The Math!

June 29 – 183 lb, 180 lb, 137 lb Big Eye Tuna Limit of Dolphin, June 30 – Nine Yellowfin Tuna and a Dolphin, July 1 – 177 lb Big Eye Tuna, Four Yellowfin = the need for a big freezer!  The fishing is great!  If you want to fill your freezer, get on board!  It’s that time of the year!!

What a great day yesterday aboard the Pelican!!  All the Dolphin the party wanted, five Yellowfin Tuna, and last but not least a nice Wahoo!  I cant say enough about the fishing this month!  Excellent!!  We have openings in July, not a month to miss out on, seriously!  Give us a call or email us arch@fishthepelican.com.  Don’t miss out on this fishing, get your friends and family together and make it happen.

Yesterday wasn’t a bad day aboard the Pelican, the gang ended their day with seven nice Dolphin, a Yellowfin Tuna and topping it off with a Sailfish release.  Great job!

Pumped!

6,7,8,& 9 were the ages of the young anglers aboard the Pelican today!  These little guys were pumped all day to catch fish and they did!  Over twenty Dolphin and a couple of Yellowfin Tuna!  They were having the time of their lives, soaking up every minute of it while the dad’s sat back proud…taking kids fishing….that’s what it’s all about.  They will always remember this day and so will  Capt. Arch and mate Lee.  A perfect day, with a couple of  great kids and dad’s who were absolutely THRILLED to be fishing, it doesn’t get any better than that!
