The International Light Tackle Tournament is in progress this week. As the Outer Banks fleet hosts these fine anglers for their quest for billfish on 20lb class tackle, they continue successful releases of Blue Marlin, White Marlin and Sailfish. The weather couldn’t be more perfect, the fish are here, the rest is up to the anglers. Congratulations for day two leaders!
The gang did it again today! Releasing five White Marlin and an approximately 300lb Blue Marlin! Nice seas and great weather offshore today. Great day!

It has been a picky August. We were on a roll catching a blue marlin everyday there for a week or so. The white marlin fishing has been on and off BUT..today we nailed it!! A GRAND SLAM with two blue marlin, a white marlin and a sailfish along with approximately twenty nice sized mahi!! Great job Pelican, Jeff Norton and crew!! Excellent day!!
