Current Pelican Fishing Report
It’s been a slow week but today was better with four white Marlin releases. August 28 just opened!
What a day for the tournament! The Pelican released four White Marlin for our first day with two fishing days to go. Congratulations to the Builders Choice crew for landing a 911 Lb Blue Marlin. We’re very proud of our team anglers! Job well done!
We had a fun day today fishing the Alice Kelly Tournament! Most importantly two wonderful ladies Victoria Martin and Robin Lanier caught their first White Marlin aboard the Pelican today! Congratulations to all the ladies who fished and supporting this great tournament!
The billfish have been a bit finicky the last week but today proved promising. We had three great anglers who each released a White Marlin! Congratulations guys!

An exciting day! The Pelican crew landed a nice catch of Dolphin and released two White Marlin and a Sailfish! WAY TO GO!!
The Pelican had a great day in spite of a few storms this morning. The crew landed an excellent catch of Dolphin, two nice sized Yellowfin Tuna and ended the day with a Blue Marlin release! Awesome day Pelican crew!
A lot of White Marlin around today! We had two great anglers that released five of six after being hit with Big Eye Tuna, landed a couple of those and topped it off with a Dolphin! Excellent release #’s for two anglers! Exciting day and a great way to kick the off Marlin season!! Congratulations Pelican crew!
