The Pelican has had two successful days. There has been a ton of action amongnstthe fleet and alot of white marlin have been seen. Yesterday we caught three white marlin and 15 nice dolphin and today we released five white marlin. Great action on the Pelican!!
Beautiful weather today gave way for an excellent day of fishing. The Doerr family had a great day seeing six white marlin and releasing four, while also catching 38 nice dolphin. Great Job!! Looking forward to another nice day tomorrow.
John Bailey hosted a great day of fishing for his friends Fred, Bill and Kelsey Saturday. They ended their day with seven dophin and Kelsey released two sailfish..way to go Kelsey! Today the Staskowiak group filled the box with 48 dolphin and releasing one white marlin. We’ve had beautiful conditions the past few days and the rest of the week is looking good. Congratulations to the anglers for a job well done, we’ve enjoyed having you aboard the Pelican.
One day left for the Pirates Cove Billfish Tournament! The Pelican raised four white marlin releasing two today. Anything can happen!!! We’re looking forward to another successful day tomorrow!!
The Pelican had a great day releasing five white marlin. Ray (12 yrs. old) ended the day with two white marlin releases and John Wilson(15 yrs.old) also released two whites, while John Bailey released one white. Great job to our young anglers! We start the Pirates Cove Billfish Tournament this week, water and weather conditions look good! GOOD LUCK TEAM PELICAN!!!
The past few days have been great, we’ve caught big, big eyes, blue and white marlins and also putting dolphin in the box. We have had a ton of fun this week while Arch Wilson (16 yrs.old) caugth a 251lb big eye tuna and his brother fought a nice big eye at the same time! The Pelican has started it’s tournament week fishing the Alice Kelly yesterday. We made it count!!! Congrats to all the women who fished this great tournament for a great cause and continue to fight and raise money for breast cancer. We are looking forward to a successful week of fishing the Pirates Cove Big Game Tournament!!! We’ll keep you posted! Wish us luck!
Tim Cantwell and friends had a great day fishing on the Pelican. The Pelican raised fifteen marlin releasing two blue marlin and ten white marlin. The Pelican also came in with a limit of dolphin. Another great day aboard the Pelican!
What more could you ask for! The past several days have been great! A nice mixture of tuna, gaffer dolphin and white marlin. Today Jeff Dooling and crew filled the box full of dolphin and released six white marlin! Great fishing guys! The billfish season is starting off quite nice as sailfish and white marlin have been released throughout the fishing fleet consistently. It’s always a great day when you can raise the flags and bring home dinner!
The Pelican has enjoyed great catches of nice sized mahi this past week. There has also been tuna and billfish. Marlin season is upon us and we are looking forward to another great year.
Prime billfish dates just opened, call if interested. Fishing has been great with nice catches of dolphin, wahoo, tuna and sailfish.
