The White Marlin bite is going strong. The last few days The Pelican has seen well over 30 Whites and released 14. With no significant weather events on the maps we feel as though the bite will continue.

Good action off the OBX coast with the Pelican going 6 for 11 yesterday.

The Pelican had a great day with 7 White Marlin released out of 11 bites.  Many more were seen cutting bait.  While moving up the board it’s going to take something big to win, place or show.

Arch had the starting lineup in the cockpit today.  6 for 8 on the White Marlin.  One that did not eat.  Also a Blue one that did not.  John Bailey got a Grand Slam day before.  Thanks to Ric on the nice write up.

Another stellar day off the OBX.  Light winds and calm seas made it that much more fun for everybody.  The Pelican released 3 of 4 White Marlin, 1 of 2 sails and put a few gaffers in the box.

Picture perfect day.  Light NE winds low humidity and cooperative White Marlin.  Good action for early August.

Arch took the Warren’s a bit south of yesterday’s action. They caught 2 out of 4 White Marlin and jumped off a Blue one.  Pamela has one more day to fill her bucket list.

It was on board the Pelican today. In her quest for one of each species Pamela and her husband Warren were able to cross While Marlin off the list.  Arch found them biting and went 5 for 6.  They pulled off a Sail.  Hopefully there is much more of this to come.  Stay tuned.
