Back at it…..

While the storm has made its mark on the OBX we are a resilient community. Our infrastructure is sound and repairs are well underway. Access to the ocean and the main populated portion of the barrier Island is intact.  Accommodations improve daily as we recover from Irene.  The late summer and fall is a beautiful time of year and offers some of the most pleasant weather and exciting fishing on the east coast.  As the Oregon Inlet fleet relocates and settles in Arch, Lee and the Pelican, now based at Pirates Cove, ventured out today.  After a long run to find the right water they raised 5 White Marlin and released 3.  Take that Irene!
