Not a bad way to spend your birthday! We had a nice catch of gaffer dolphin and a few nice yellowfin tuna!
Generally, today was a bit slower for the fleet but there were a few Yellowfin and Big Eye Tuna caught with a couple of Sailfish. We ended our day with nice sized Dolphin and released a Sailfish, not too bad considering the conditions.
The Tuna fishing has been pretty decent the last few days. Today we had a nice haul of gaffers and Yellowfin Tuna! The young guys showed us how it’s done today!

Today was a great day for our local group. Todd and his crew landed a nice catch of dolphin and enjoyed a nice day to set off the season. There’s nothing like catching fresh fish from your own backyard!!

Tropical depression Bonnie kept the Pelican at the dock today. A few boats weathered the storm and came in with a couple of good catches of Tuna. We’re looking forward to getting back offshore tomorrow.
