PCBGT Day 2 Pelican’s Day 1
A nice day for the Pelican’s to make it on the scoreboard. Light winds with a northerly component and seas +/-2 feet made for a pleasant day to fish on day 2 of the 28th year of the Pirates Cove event. With Jeff and the Obsession off to a grand start the Pelican, Captain Bracher and crew have made their mark on first day of tourney fishing. 4 out of 5 White Marlin and 1 out of 2 on sails which was par for the top boats. A big Blue Marlin came in and looked but it was not to be. Let’s hope for more of the same Thursday!
Meanwhile Summer Bracher and her IWFA Tournament team mates Kate Burke and Linda Harper are fishing The Third Annual Carolina Blue Funament on the Neuse River near Oriental, NC. The ladies have caught and released at least one large Red and are most certainly having a blast.
