White Marlin bite remains strong!
Bill Floyd and his crew enjoyed ideal conditions and a great White Marlin bite Thursday. By 11:15 AM the Pelican and crew had released 9 Whites. Then a 200 + pound Blue one ate a bait on light tackle and kept them busy for three hours. After releasing it they managed another White totaling 11 Billfish for the day.
Blue One
Chef Light and his entourage finished up a three day stint on board the Pelican with good numbers. The last day ended with a Billfish count of 9 White Marlin and a Blue One. Overall the fleet average was good as nice weather holds on.
Choppy but productive
Chef Brian Light from Portland Oregon and his buddies from Virginia brought there A game Monday. They released 12 of the 14 Whites that bit as well as a 300 pound Blue one.
Our thoughts and prayers go out to Sonny.
