Its been an interesting last few days. Calm seas and warm weather but the fish have been scattered everywhere with everything showing up. Yesterday, there were a few Blue Marlin above the triple 0’s, a few Yellowfin and Big Eyes east of the inlet and scattered Yellow Fin and Mahi southeast of the inlet. We had Yellow Fin, Mahi and a Blue Marlin today…what a mix! July in June??? If your considering booking a day in July, I’d get on it. More of your meat fishing will be during the first couple of weeks leading into a turn around of more billfish showing up towards the end of July.

It started a bit stormy this morning. We released a nice 400 lb Blue marlin today along with Yellowfin Tuna. Nice work from a few of the locals.

The Scoop
The last couple of days the weather has been beautiful and calm. Yesterday, althought the tuna had taken a break, we did release a nice Blue Marlin. Today we had a nice catch of tuna and mahi. We are looking forward to another great day tomorrow.

Fishing has been great! The whole fleet is doing well! This is the place to be for June and July fishing. A few marlin have been caught today too. Conditions are consistent along with the meat fishing. Nice work today!
