The last two days have been great! Yesterday was a short day for our group but they ended it releasing a blue, two whites and a mahi for the box. Today we released four out of six white marlin and three nice mahi for the box. There have been a great number of grand slams caught by the fleet while some boats have had two or three. Hoping this is a good sign for our marlin season.

Although the seas were a bit bumpy today, this Pelican crew was able to successfully release a white marlin and put a nice catch of Mahi in the box along with a wahoo. Nice catch for the day.

Its so much fun fishing with our young friends! Both Sonny Albarty and Devon released a White Marlin and also helped with the other two releases! A great day! All kids should go fishing!

BIG. BLUE. MARLIN!!
What an incredible day! We started the first two hours fighting a nice Blue Marlin weighing over 500 lb’s! Then we released 4 of 7 White Marlin! The two gaffer Mahi were icing on the big cake! Slick calm glassy sea conditions. One excellent day!

What a great catch for what the day had to offer the Pelican! I would not expect anything less from John Gordon and his crew! Choppy seas and not many fish made for a challenging day and they pulled it out with a nice catch of Mahi! Nice work John!
