This week has been an excellent week for the Pelican and its charters.  Everyday they have caught their limits of dolphin and added several tuna to the mix.  Nevertheless, a white marlin was released yesterday!  Wonderful weather, great water temperatures and abundance of fish have made this week fun for everyone.  Captain Arch and the Pelican are looking forward to another successful week and invite you to take advantage of the great fishing for upcoming July.  July is a great month as the fishing cycles begin to change and the influx of  different species come and go.  July is a great month for the increased chance for billfish along with putting fish in the box.   Don’t miss out!!  Fishing has been great!

The Pelican has consistantly caught it’s limit of dolphin the past several days.  Today was excellent with a limit of dolphin and five tuna to top the box off.  The fleet has seen a few billfish and with daily releases and water conditions have been great.

We beat the fog and ended up with an excellent catch of tuna and dolphin, box is full!!!

The Pelican had an excellent day, ending early with a limit of dolphin and nine tuna.

The Pelican took full advantage of this beautiful day.  Light winds and easy fishing finishing the day with a box full of dolphin and releasing two white marlin.

Yesterday the Pelican started out with an excellent catch of dolphin putting thirty in the box.  They ended their day catching five cobia and seeing them in higher numbers.  Another great day aboard the Pelican!

Capt. Arch, Summer (wife), Nick Durney,Nick Walke and Phil Sevona went Cobia fishing today for fun.  We had a great time, the new custom rod Nick W. built for my wife did extremely well.  I cought my biggest Cobia so far at 79lbs and Phil caught around a 60 pounder while  Summer hooked hers off the same ray, we simply had a good time.  Yesterday the Pelican caught it’s limit of Mahi mahi and released a 450 lb Blue Marlin in addition to raising two others.   We are expecting good weather conditions through the weekend.

The Pelican has enjoyed a mixture of everything from white and blue marlin to tuna and mahi mahi, not to forget there are cobia still out here.  We are having a blast!  The water temps are getting more consistant and the weather has not held us back.  The Oregon Inlet Fishing Center fleet has had great catches of tuna and mahi mahi as well.  We’re going strong and folks are having an excellent time.

The Pelican had another great day catching 25 gaffer dolphins, tuna, and a two hundred pound blue marlin!

The Pelican had an great day on  landing 13 cobia and seeing more than fifty, at the least.  Perfect weather conditions for sight casting, clear, calm and cobia everywhere!  The Cobia fishing has been excellent, better than we have seen in years!
