It has been remarkable fishing aboard the Pelican! It’s the 16th of June and the Pelican and its charters have had excellent fishing. 15 Marlin releases since first part of June! What??? Big Eyes, Yellowfin’s, big Dolphin, Whites and Blue Marlin. Yesterday, Five White Marlin Released, TODAY, Eight gaffer Dolphin and Three Blue Marlin released, two just shy of 400lb’s, NICE!!! Fishing is HOT!!!!
Pumped!
6,7,8,& 9 were the ages of the young anglers aboard the Pelican today! These little guys were pumped all day to catch fish and they did! Over twenty Dolphin and a couple of Yellowfin Tuna! They were having the time of their lives, soaking up every minute of it while the dad’s sat back proud…taking kids fishing….that’s what it’s all about. They will always remember this day and so will Capt. Arch and mate Lee. A perfect day, with a couple of great kids and dad’s who were absolutely THRILLED to be fishing, it doesn’t get any better than that!
Perseverance!
It has been an interesting last few days. The winds have tested us but we have been able to get out and get our fill of Dolphin, which has been great! We have persevered and accomplished the task of not coming back empty handed. The catches have been great! We are looking forward to lighter winds tomorrow and continuing the epic fishing we have enjoyed this month, which has been like a Fourth of July finale everyday! Our charters have been true troopers and great job on landing your catches even in a little rough water. You’ve proven to be tough anglers! Great Job guys!
Limiting Out!
Awesome fishing today! The Pelican ended the day limiting out on Dolphin adding two nice Yellowfin tuna and releasing two White Marlin. Need I say more?
Fishing Is AWESOME!!!
It’s not letting up, the fishing aboard the Pelican is like the Energizer bunny….the last two days Capt. Arch and his crew have loaded up with Dolphin, catching their limits both days and topping yesterday off with five Yellowfin Tuna. Yummmm and Funnnn! We cant get enough of this fishing this season, the charters are having a time they’ll never forget and we are having a blast! We have one day open for June 26, last open day in June and a few days available in July. Get your friends and family together and GO FISHING!!!!
Another Successful Day Aboard The Pelican!
Although the seas were a little on the rough side today, Michelle and Chris Glodeck had a great day catching their limit of Dolphin and four nice Yellowfin Tuna. The fishing has been consistent and the Pelican and it’s crew are enjoying every moment of it. The weather has been great and we’re fishing everyday. I can’t say enough about how good the fishing has been and how much of a good time we have had with our charters.

The last two days have been wonderful for Bob McCully and his group. They have had two great days of catching their limit of Dolphin, and Capt. Arch has topped both days off with a Blue and White Marlin release! Icing on the cake! It has been strong fishing on the Pelican and we are grateful for the bounty of fish and our awesome customers.
Mission Accomplished!
Yesterday, in spite of rougher than usual seas, the Pelican persevered with a limit of nice sized Dolphin and releasing a Blue Marlin! The Blue Marlin put on a great show and the crew had a great time! It’s really been a great season!

Just In! It’s Flag Day
Today wasn’t just for flying our great American flag, the Pelican flew eight White Marlin release flags!! Beautiful day on the water today. Our charter ended their two day adventure aboard the Pelican with a nice catch of Big Eye Tuna, nine White Marlin releases,Yellowfin Tuna and Dolphin. We had a blast and enjoyed this great fishing! Fishing is Hot!!
The Big Eye Moment!
Lines are out…it’s a beautiful day…we’re trolling along…..then BAM!!! Eight Big Eye Tuna perform a blast attack on the Pelican. It was GAME ON!!! The guys did an excellent angling job landing five from 100 – 130 pounds yesterday. Great action throughout the day with a White Marlin release too. Congratulations Macon Hunter and friends, you guys are tough!
