# Sonny Albarty #White Marlin #Red Drum
Most Captains would be happy with releasing 11 White Marlins of the “bunch” raised. Apparently that count was subpar for today. The Billfish bite is turning out to be epic as the Red Drum start to show up off the OBX piers. This will lead to very long days.
On a more important note a fundraising event will be held for Sonny Albarty on September the 26th . Among the items to be auctioned to help fund Sonny’s treatment will be a day’s charter on board the Pelican. More details to follow.
